It’s been such a positive experience for all of us; students and staff alike so we’ll definitely be doing this again. As you know, we support extremely challenging behaviour, Autism and a range of other sensory needs. The responses to the chicks from some of students has been nothing less than amazing – so calm, quiet and gentle. We’ve even had one young man with extremely limited communication ask to go and see the chicks which was absolutely amazing and brought a tear to the eye!!!!! (for us, it’s the little things)
