The Living Eggs project really brings “Curriculum for Excellence” to life in a fun and exciting way. Children, staff and parents were enthralled with the project over the 2 weeks. It was fantastic to see the chicks hatch, all the way through to being proper chicks. The children have learned so much about the life cycle of chicks and other animals. It was also an excellent opportunity to involve parents in their child’s learning, designing family hen houses and inviting parents into class. A very worthwhile project!
